  • Coordinates with Camera & Editor to ensure a consistent creative execution.

    CAMERA
  • Selects, maintains, & safely deploys imaging equipment.
  • Consults Director’s storyboard to position the camera.
  • Collaborates with Lighting in the proper configuration and operation of the camera.
  • Manages, logs, and backs up all recording media; Delivers recorded media to Editor.

    LIGHTING
  • Selects, maintains, & safely deploys lighting equipment.
  • Designs & implements the lighting scheme with Camera
  • Keeps detailed lighting plots for each camera position.

    GRIP
  • Works as assigned, with chief responsibility during the shoot to assist with production sound, camera, and lighting.
  • The most valuable grips offer their help before being asked to do so.

    EDITOR
  • Organizes server, project, and bins.
  • Consults the Director’s storyboard to select and combine shots into sequences.
  • Works with the Director to creatively tell the film’s story.
  • Adjusts footage for color consistency and technical standards.
  • Works with Production Sound to combine dialogue, FX & music, to creatively meet technical standards of level.

    AUDIO
  • Selects, maintains, and safely deploys audio recording equipment.
  • Makes & logs dual-system recordings of all location dialogue, roomtone, and wildcat effects.
  • Manages and backs up all recording media; Delivers recorded media to the Editor.
  • Works with the Editor to combine dialogue, FX & music, to creatively meet technical standards of level.

    SCRIPT
  • Drafts and revises the script.
