Export a WINDOW BURN of your project’s VISUAL LOCK.
SPOT your film. Make a list of necessary atmospheres and sound effects and their corresponding timecodes. Upload the spotting sheet to your project’s “documentation” sub-folder.
RECORD the necessary effects with an intimate microphone distance for low noise. Use a wind kit to record outside. Robust waveforms with bit depth of 24 and sample rate of 48kHz are expected. LOG each recording.
UPLOAD the recorded effects to the appropriate server folder; BACKUP the files in at least two other locations. Upload the log to the documentations sub-folder. IMPORT the clips from server to project bins.
Premiere Pro: Add the effects clips to your TIMELINE. Each effect should have a LABELED TRACK of its own. ROUTE tracks to submixes; route submixes to the mix channel.
Audition: Add the effects clips to a multi-track SESSION (.sesx). Each effect should have a LABELED TRACK of its own. ROUTE tracks to busses; route busses to a mix channel.
Adjust LEVELS. FADE beginning and end of clips to minimize abrupt cuts to silence.
Use FX presets in the ESSENTIAL SOUND panel to adjust DYNAMICS and EQ. Customize with keyframes or Effects Controls.
MIX effects to a cumulative average loudness of -12dBFS/-23LUFS.
EXPORT Audition work back to Premiere Pro as a single track.
