THAT'S BETTER 2

CONTENT:  A person enters the frame.  Notices shoe is untied.  The person ties the shoe.  Says: “There.  That’s Better.”  Exits the frame.

TECHNIQUE:  Use your cellphone’s camera to tell the story in two shots:  one closer than the other.

    • Resolution.  1080HD.  Progressive Scan.  Square pixels.  16:9.  23.976 frames per second.
    • Brightness.  Disable your camera’s automatic iris feature.
    • Coverage.  10-second heads & tails.  Clean entrances and exits.  Record the entire action of the scene from each camera position. 
    • Composition.  Your footage should reflect an understanding of The Rule of Thirds, The 180° Rule, and the 30/20 Rule.
    • Shooting Ratio.  No less than 6:1 for each camera position.  Log all footage.

DELIVERABLES:  DO NOT combine the shots into a finished film.  Submit the raw footage and the FOOTAGE LOG to the CINE-STOR SERVER
