The Film: One Hot Mennonite

Few things complicate the recording of location dialogue like a steady rain. On a barn's tin roof. But the makers of "One Hot Mennonite" had to contend with precisely that. In fact, because the project fulfills requirements for a course in Digital Audio Production, location dialogue constituted a specific concern.

The film's musical soundtrack was also given special instructional attention. In the case of "Mennonite," students of Media Production were obliged to collaborate with students of Musical Composition and Performance to create the film's "sexy bluegrass" licks.
