The RE-RECORDING MIXER combines the work of author audio post-production creatives in the film’s last stop before export.

EXPORT a version of the film’s visual track that includes

• the leader
• a slate with an updated and accurate running time
• approved color and graphics
• the concluding thirty seconds of black. 

IMPORT and LOCK that version into V1 of a new timeline.  It will be the only video clip in the timeline.

Export the approved DIALOGUE as a .wav file which includes the leader’s reference tone.  Import that file into A1 of your timeline. 

Export the approved FOLEY as a .wav file which includes the leader’s reference tone.  Import that file in A2 of your timeline. 

Export the approved SCORE as a .wav file which includes the leader’s reference tone.  Import that file into A3 of your timeline. 

KEYFRAME the track levels of the DX, FX, and Music stems to achieve intelligibility and creative effect within established technical parameters. 

Use LOUDNESS Meter or Radar to ensure the program’s cumulative integrated levels average -23LUFS (±2) without peaking.  Once approved, your project is finished and ready for two final exports:  one with and one without the leader.
