    • Preset: MONO.
    • Clip Channel Format: MONO

Audio clips will appear in multicam sequence tracks in the order they are selected from the project window.
CAMERA AUDIO tracks will appear LAST by default.

CLIP > CREATE MULTICAMERA SOURCE SEQUENCE

  • DISABLE: Move source clips to Processed Clips Bin
  • Audio Sequence Settings:  ALL CAMERAS
  • Audio Channels Preset: AUTOMATIC

The resulting multicam sequence may be edited like any other clip or nest.

  • Load it into the SOURCE MONITOR
  • Set IN– and OUT-points,
  • TOGGLE destination video and audio tracks in the target sequence
  • Use the INSERT or OVERWRITE commands to move your selection to the playhead of the target sequence

Why MULTICAM and not sync & merge clips?

  • Multicam sequences combine an unlimited number of video and audio sources
  • Multicam sequences can be modified; merged clips cannot.
  • Multicam preserves more clip metadata.
  • Matchframe (F) performs more functions in multicam mode.
